A Merry Little Christmas | For Liminal Horror
A downloadable Holiday Horror
Le Moyne, Mississippi
Monday, December 24, 1979
Your city’s been dying a long time: a port town abandoned by industry, a beach resort forgotten by tourists. What will be left by the end of 1980 but a few shrimp boats and abandoned hotels?
Tonight it’s Christmas Eve, and as the city dies away around you, you are here at Beverly’s, Le Moyne's only gay bar. Maybe for the first time, but probably just like last year.
You come to Beverly's on Christmas Eve because the burgers are free, the Pearl Beer is cheap, and there's a chance you'll meet someone besides Darlene Love who'll beg you to please come home.
But tonight, your O-Little-Town of Le Moyne's deep and dreaming sleep will become a nightmare, and you'll have only a few hours to figure out what really matters and how to get everything you love out.
