Supposedly, the Agamenticus Agency came to Last Pine to find “everyday” amateur models for its casual sportswear campaign. The Chicago-based advertising and modeling firm has hired several of your classmates from a local college for a multi-week series of photoshoots in the areas around town. The “casual wear” is decidedly out of season for summer, so the amateur models have struggled to stay cool in leather, denim, suede, and cashmere.

Then, the whole project was brought to a halt. Late one night, Sly Bailey, a creative writing major and one of the models, fell from the City Hall Clocktower after being electrocuted.
